History
Château Barde-Haut has been owned by Sylviane Garcin-Cathiard for eighteen years, and also owns Clos l’Eglise in Pomerol, Château Haut-Bergey and Château Branon in Léognan. After its purchase by the vineyards Garcin, the property is totally renovated. Important investments are made and the new winery allows to work by gravity to respect the precious harvest of the Castle. Today, it is the daughter of Sylviane Garcin-Cathiard, Hélène, and her husband Patrice Lévêque who are at the head of Château Barde-Haut. The encounter between exceptional terroir and viticultural techniques combining tradition and modernity make Château Barde-Haut one of the rising stars of Saint-Emilion.
